VSA arts of Massachusetts
invites your class to join us at the Boston Children's Museum to celebrate
inclusion of students with and without disabilities in grades k-5. Come
express, create, and share your unique abilities and talents with others
during a day of hands-on art activities.

VSA arts of Massachusetts invites your class to join us at the Massachusetts
Audubon Broad Meadow Brook in Worcester to celebrate the inclusion of
students of all abilities in grades 9-12. Come express, create and share
your unique abilities and talents with others during a day of hands-on
art activities and nature exploration!

"All
Kids Can Festival" at the Boston Children's Museum,
June 6, 2007, 9:30 am - 1:15 pm; Grades
K-6
Approximately 170 students from 7 Boston
Public Schools, their teachers and parents, participated in this hands-on,
multi-arts event, where they enjoyed the exhibits of the newly re-opened
museum and participated in visual and performing arts workshops. The Festival
ended with a parade in front of Fort Point Channel, where students drummed
and danced in the company of our colorful bird and dragon. The Festival
was made possible through contributions from CVS Charitable Trust, the Linde
Family Foundation and the Massachusetts Department of Education. |

VSAM Worcester
Festival at the Mass Audubon Broad Meadow Brook Wildlife Sanctuary, Worcester
May 17, 2006 - Grades K- 6
May 18, 2006 - Grades 6 -12
54 students in grades
K-12 and 25 teachers and parents from Schools in and around Worcester
participated in our Worcester Festival in May of 2006. Students had the
unique opportunity to explore nature through a guided tour of the Audubon's
grounds, and then participate in art activities through which they could
document their learning and understanding. They had the opportunity to
participate in SAORI weaving and visual arts and music workshops.

VSAM Festival
at the Boston Children's Museum
May 4, 2006, 9:30 am - 1:00 pm; Grades K - 6
135 students in grades
K - 6 from 5 Boston Public Schools attended the Festival, where they participated
in a West-African Drumming and Dancing performance, a visual arts workshop
at the Museum's Art Studio, a Theater Games workshop at KidStage and were
also able to explore the exhibits of the Museum at their own pace.
The
Festival was made possible thanks to contributions from the Linde Family
Foundation and the Massachusetts Department of Education.

VSAM
Festival 2005 at the Ecotarium, Worcester
"Animals on the Move: Exploring the Way Creatures Get Around"
April 15, 2005, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm; Grades K - 12
Students in grades K - 12 from 8 schools participated in our Worcester
Festival at the Ecotarium in April of 2005.They met and greeted animals
during "Animal Encounters", participated in a mural project,
an "Underwater Fish Prints" session; music, theater and drumming
and dancing activities; most of which explored the festival theme of how
animals move around. The festival was possible through Contributions
Worcester Cultural Commision, the Greater Worcester Community Foundation
and the Massachusetts Department of Education.

VSAM Festival
at the Boston Children's Museum
June 10, 2005, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
VSAM had the pleasure
after many years, of welcoming about 134 students in grades K-6 from 6
Boston Public Schools to our Festival on June 10. Students enjoyed making
"Identity Masks" and creating new colors at the Museum's Art
Studio; drumming and dancing to West African music and moving their bodies
and acting during the Theater arts Workshop.
The Festival was possible due to contributions from the Massachusetts
Department of Education.
