MULTI-ARTS RESOURCE GUIDE
(and companion videos)

provides teachers, paraprofessionals and after school care providers with a crucial tool for utilizing arts activities in teaching the core curriculum. MARG clearly presents accessible, creative arts activities in puppetry, movement, printmaking, collage, theatre arts, sound exploration and "self concepts." Each easy to use lesson plan includes comments regarding direct curriculum connections and adaptations appropriate for students with varying abilities. To see a sample lesson click here.

is an instructional program created by VSA arts for pre-school and early elementary school learners that uses the arts to assist young children, including those with disabilities, in exploring themes commonly taught in early childhood classrooms, while developing basic literacy skills and self-expression.

START WITH THE ARTS AT HOME

promotes the development of basic literacy skills and offers engaging arts activities parents can enjoy with their children. Adaptive tips are offered to ensure that children of all abilities are able to participate.
The guide can also be used in conjunction with the Start with the Arts Teacher's Guide.
