"THE GREY ROOM"
AUGUST 22 - SEPTEMBER 15, 2005

To express life in all its modalities, without prejudice. To create something beautiful, without pretension.

I believe art has to be an integral part of everyday life. As object of use, or contemplation when not in use. As a presence, which gives support to a person's thoughts and feelings, whatever they may be, like a friend.

I understand my work as a work of the world. It contains references to many cultures, conditions, ways of life. These exist by a will of their own, not my intention to make it that way, but my acceptance to let it be that way. The core of my work is not perfection, but change; the limitations imposed on the human will and the struggle in the search for moments of peace.
