Biography

William Kinnear is an extremely prolific artist who explores his intuitive self through dream-like, imaginary landscapes and high detailed geometric compositions. He considers his hundreds of drawings as sketches and studies for further paintings and sculptures.

Artist Statement

For the last twenty odd years, I have created paintings and black and white drawings of dreams, fantasies and realities of change -- transformation. These two, highly detailed drawings had a personal calming effect on me. People see and describe them as nice, unusual, detailed, balanced, wonderful, spiritual, interesting, time intensive, etc. My art allows me to open up all the possibilities that life offers me. What I see and think and feel comes out in my art that is ever-growing and changing for the better.
